World Sports Betting – Lucky Loser Competition 2026 Terms and Conditions
By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. The Lucky Loser 2026 competition (“the competition”) is an always-on retail competition with a monthly draw and may be shortened or extended at the discretion of World Sports Betting (WSB).
2. The competition is run by World Sports Betting and is valid in all operating WSB retail branches.
3. Entry is open to individual entrants residing in South Africa, over the age of 18 (eighteen) years. Group and company entries are not permitted.
4. Each person is allowed unlimited entries into the competition, provided all entry criteria as set out in these Terms and Conditions have been met.
5. Prizes to be Won:
5.1. Every month, a maximum of four (4) winners per retail branch will each receive:
- A WSB Online Free Bet Voucher to the value of R1,000 (One Thousand Rands Only), credited as World Coins to the winner’s WSB online account; and
- A WSB merchandise hamper consisting of the following promotional items: a Drawstring bag, a T-shirt, and a cap (which may differ per draw depending on available stock).
5.2. The Free Bet Voucher will be credited to the winner’s WSB account within 72 hours of the draw.

5.4. A turnover requirement applies to all World Coins received:
- Sports: winners will need to wager 5 (five) times the value
- Casino: winners will need to wager 30 (thirty) times the value
5.5. Winners who do not have a WSB online account will be required to register an account in order to receive their prize.
5.6. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. How to Enter:
6.1. Place a bet for any amount on Sports, Numbers or Betgames at a WSB retail branch during the competition period.
6.2. If your bet is a losing bet, write your full name and cellphone number on the back of the losing betslip and place it into the Lucky Loser entry box in-store.
6.3. Entrants must be present in-store at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.
6.4. Entrants may not win more than once within a 3-month period.
7. The Competition Draw:
7.1. One draw will take place on the last Saturday of each month at 15h00 in each participating retail branch, except for December, the draw will take place on the 12th of December 2026.
7.2. Four potential winners will be selected per branch by means of a random draw from the losing betslips in the entry box.

7.3. Winners must be present in-store at the time of the draw in order to be eligible or to claim their prize.
7.4. WSB will verify the drawn betslip to confirm eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
7.5. To redeem the prize, winners will be required to present the following to the branch manager on duty:
- The original betslip used to enter the competition
- Confirm the cellphone number written on the betslip
- Valid identification.
- Sign an acknowledgement letter
7.6. In the event that four winners cannot be successfully drawn, the unawarded prizes will NOT roll over to the next monthly draw.
8. Winner Administration:
8.1. After each draw, branch staff will submit the winner’s name, cellphone number, WSB online-account number and betslip details to the Retail Marketing Department for prize fulfilment.
8.2. Marketing will arrange for the World Coins to be credited to the winner’s WSB account.
9. General:
9.1. By accepting the prize, winners agree to the publication of their name and/or photographs on WSB platforms, including print, digital, social media and websites.
9.2. The competition is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, of South Africa and regulations governing promotional competitions.
9.3. WSB employees, directors, agents, consultants and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
9.4. All promotional material relating to this competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
9.5. WSB reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or terminate the competition at any time.
9.6. World Sports Betting reserves the right to reject any entrant/winner from the competition at its sole discretion.
9.7. World Sports Betting, its directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries, and/or holding companies are indemnified against and assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, harm or damage to person or property arising from an entrants’ participation in this competition or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising.
9.8. If required by law or for whatever other reason at the discretion of World Sports Betting, World Sports Betting shall have the right to terminate this competition with immediate effect, or vary the terms and conditions thereof, and without notice of such termination or variation to any entrants or winners. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights that they may have against World Sports Betting for any direct or indirect damages and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against either company, subsidiary, or holding company, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants.
9.9. If World Sports Betting suspects foul play by any entrant/participant/winner, World Sports Betting is entitled to disqualify the participant/entrant/winner with immediate effect. World Sports Betting’s decision regarding this is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9.10. By participating in this competition, all entrants/winners participating in this competition agree that they do so strictly and entirely at their own risk, and that World Sports Betting, its respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, subcontractors, agents, and/or affiliates, in whole or in part, shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, and/or damage (including, but not limited to, general, consequential or special damages or loss of profits) of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising (including, but not limited to, whether directly or indirectly or whether or not by way of negligence) to any person and/or other person (third party), dependents, assignees, executors, trustees, or legal representatives.

9.11. in the event of a dispute, World Sports Betting’s decision is final and binding on all aspects of this competition and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.12. By participating, entrants agree to receive marketing communication from WSB.
