World Sports Betting: Winter Wheels Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the World Sports Betting "Winter Wheels" Promotion. By participating in this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

1. Eligibility and Promotion Period

• Duration: The promotion runs from 01 June 2026 to 31 July 2026.
• Location: This promotion is valid exclusively in all World Sports Betting Retail Branches nationwide.
• Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to participate.
• Residency: Entry is open to all individuals residing legally in South Africa.
• Exclusions: Employees, directors, agents, or consultants of World Sports Betting (WSB), their families, or anyone professionally connected to the promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. How to Enter

Every unique ticket of R10 or more constitutes one entry. Multiple entries are permitted for multiple qualifying tickets. To qualify for the draw, participants must follow these steps:

1. Place a Bet: Place any bet with a stake of R10 or more at any World Sports Betting retail branch during the promotion period.
2. Access the Portal: Scan the QR Code found on in-store marketing material or visit the promotion link wsbpromos.com/comp/ via internet stations in-store.
3. Submit Details: Complete the online entry form by providing:
• The valid 9-digit ticket number.
• Personal contact details.
• The specific World Sports Betting Branch where the bet was placed.
4. Consent: Agree to the Terms and Conditions and submit the entry.

The total prize pool exceeds R250,000 in value. Prizes are structured as follows:

4. The Draw and Winner Selection

• Date of Draw: The draw will take place remotely by 10 August 2026.
• Verification: All draws will be recorded for auditing and transparency purposes. World Sports Betting reserves the right to verify ticket ownership via CCTV footage from the respective branch.
• Reverse Order Draw: Winners will be drawn in reverse order (5th place through 1st). The final name drawn will be the winner of the Grand Prize (Suzuki Swift).
• Notification: Winners will be contacted via the details provided during entry no later than 15 August 2026.

5. Grand Prize (Vehicle) Specifics

• Driver’s License: To claim the Suzuki Swift, the winner must provide a valid South African Driver’s License.
• Cash Alternative: Should the winner be unable to provide a valid driver’s license, a cash alternative of R50,000 will be offered in lieu of the vehicle.
• Costs: The prize includes the vehicle and licensing, but excludes insurance and ongoing maintenance costs, which are the responsibility of the winner.

6. General Provisions

• Abuse/Manipulation: World Sports Betting reserves the right to exclude any person deemed to have manipulated or abused the promotion, including the use of fraudulent ticket numbers or multiple entries for the same ticket.
• Marketing: By entering, winners agree to have their names and photographs used for promotional purposes (e.g., social media/website) at no additional fee, subject to their right to decline such usage in writing.
• Standard Rules:
• The competition is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, of South Africa and regulations governing promotional competitions.
• WSB reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or terminate the competition at any time.
• If required by law or for whatever other reason at the discretion of World Sports Betting, World Sports Betting shall have the right to terminate this competition with immediate effect, or vary the terms and conditions thereof, and without notice of such termination or variation to any entrants or winners. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights that they may have against World Sports Betting for any direct or indirect damages and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against either company, subsidiary, or holding company, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants.
• By participating in this competition, all entrants/winners participating in this competition agree that they do so strictly and entirely at their own risk, and that World Sports Betting, its respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, subcontractors, agents, and/or affiliates, in whole or in part, shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, and/or damage (including, but not limited to, general, consequential or special damages or loss of profits) of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising (including, but not limited to, whether directly or indirectly or whether or not by way of negligence) to any person and/or other person (third party), dependents, assignees, executors, trustees, or legal representatives.
